Diversity and Inclusion at Miss Sue’s

At Miss Sue’s, we know that fostering an inclusive environment benefits all students. This is why we seek to take a culturally responsive approach to teaching through both our curriculum and activities. In effect, we have found that students from all different backgrounds are able to succeed, feel accepted, and thrive inside and outside of the classroom.

By creating a positive environment in which to learn, students are able to more seamlessly grow into who they are and embrace their similarities as well as their differences. Students are also able to appreciate and cherish those who are different from them in aspects such as, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, religion, language, and socio-economic status. At Miss Sue’s, we are committed to creating an environment of belonging for all students.
